One of Scandinavia’s largest car gatherings celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2027 – the same year Volvo turns 100. Vallåkraträffen returns to Enoch Thulin Airfield near Vallåkra in southern Sweden for a weekend dedicated to classic cars, modified vehicles and Scandinavian automotive culture.

The event is particularly popular among Volvo enthusiasts, with everything from carefully restored classics to extensively modified and high-performance Volvos on display. The programme includes the traditional Lergökarallyt on Saturday, starting in Ängelholm, followed by Show & Shine competitions on Sunday. One of the highlights is the prestigious Sveriges häftigaste Volvo award, recognising Sweden’s most impressive Volvo.

While Vallåkraträffen welcomes vehicles of many different makes, its strong Volvo presence makes the 2027 edition particularly interesting during the marque’s centenary year.
