A global, independent documentary project celebrating 100 years of Volvo.
“100 Stories · 100 Years of Volvo” is an independent documentary project dedicated to the people who love these cars. To mark Volvo’s 100th anniversary in 2027, we are collecting and curating the stories of 100 owners of classic Volvo models from around the world. Each story is a portrait of a human and a car, shaped by time, use and experience.
These are not stories about specifications or perfection. They are about first cars, family vehicles, long commutes, restorations, breakdowns, and everything in between. What matters is not how rare the car is, but why it matters to the person who drives it.
The project brings together voices from different countries, generations, and backgrounds. Together, they form a collective portrait of a hundred years of Volvo, told from the driver’s seat.
All 100 stories will be carefully selected and published in book form to paint a human picture of Volvo’s hundred-year history – one story at a time.
