Motortreff “Alte Schweden” 2027 | 100 years of Volvo, 80 years of Saab

The “MotorTreff Alte Schweden” is the largest event in Germany dedicated to Swedish motoring culture, bringing together Volvo and Saab enthusiasts in Böblingen – and the 2027 edition offers two very special anniversaries to celebrate: 100 years of Volvo and 80 years of Saab.

Hundreds of Swedish cars from different generations are expected to fill the grounds around the historic airport buildings, complemented by special vehicles, displays and stories from the two marques’ histories. Over the past editions, Alte Schweden has developed into one of Germany’s major meeting points for Scandinavian car culture. In Volvo’s centenary year, the gathering will put an even stronger focus on the people and cars that have kept that heritage alive – from early classics to the youngtimers of more recent decades.
