International Volvo-R-Meeting 2027 | Celebrating a century of Volvo

One hundred years of Volvo – celebrated with 100 of its fastest and most charismatic cars. The International Volvo-R-Meeting in Wetzikon, Switzerland, has set itself a fitting goal for the centenary year: bringing together 100 Volvo R models in one place.

The gathering focuses on Volvo’s performance heritage, from the legendary 850 T-5R and 850 R through the S70 R and V70 R to the later S60 R and V70 R. These cars represent a very different side of a brand often associated primarily with safety, practicality and longevity. The 2027 meeting provides an opportunity to celebrate that performance chapter as part of Volvo’s wider history – and to create what should be an impressive line-up of some of Gothenburg’s most desirable modern classics.
