Gothenburg Classic Car Weekend

The Gothenburg Classic Car Weekend returns to Lindholmen on 29–30 May 2027, bringing together more than 500 carefully selected vehicles in the historic industrial surroundings of Sweden’s automotive capital.

The two-day festival features classic cars, youngtimers, racing cars, motorcycles and special exhibitions. For 2027, the organisers are placing particular emphasis on Swedish automotive history and innovation, with Volvo, Saab and other Swedish manufacturers represented.

Volvo enthusiasts can look forward to displays featuring cars from different eras, Volvo clubs and the participation of World of Volvo. Other highlights include historic Formula 1 and rally cars, the Gothenburg Classic Rally, automotive museums and a varied programme of activities.

While no specific programme celebrating Volvo’s 100th anniversary has been announced yet, planning is still underway. Given the event’s location in Volvo’s hometown and the significance of the centenary year, we expect the anniversary to play a role in the final programme.
