100 Stories · 100 Years of Volvo is an independent documentary project dedicated to the people who love these cars. To mark 100 years of Volvo, we are collecting and curating the stories of 100 classic Volvo owners from around the world. Each story is a portrait of a person and a car, shaped by time, use, and experience.
These are not stories about specifications or perfection. They are about first cars, family vehicles, long commutes, restorations, breakdowns, and everything in between. What matters is not how rare the car is — but why it matters to the person who drives it.
The project brings together voices from different countries, generations, and backgrounds. Together, they form a collective portrait of a hundred years of Volvo, told from the driver’s seat.
All 100 stories will be carefully curated and published as a book — a human record of a century, told one story at a time.
